La 66e grand-messe de l’industrie musicale a rendu son verdict hier soir à Los Angeles. Parmi les 94 (!) gramophones dorés décernés, soulignons d’abord une troisième victoire dans la catégorie Best Traditional Blues Album pour l’inoxydable Bobby Rush grâce à son “All My Love For You”, brillamment autoproduit. L’autre prix blues, le Best Contemporary Blues Album, revient à Larkin Poe pour l’excellent “Blood Harmony”. 

Félicitons aussi Deanie Parker, Robert Gordon et leur équipe pour les deux récompenses attribuées au précieux coffret “Written In Their Soul: The Stax Songwriter Demos”, celle du Best Historical Album et celle du Best Album Notes.
